Our high school basketball girls showed up to support our 7th and 8th graders last night as they took on NFV. Both squads did a great job and represented the Cougars very well! Best of luck to all players and coaches on the remainder of the season! Go Cougars!
It's not the ball, it's the bowler! Bowling season starts tonight for the Cougar girls bowling team. The Waukon Indians come to Thunder Lanes for a 4 pm showdown with our Cougars. Go Cougars!

SFHS Winter sports meeting, Nov. 9th. This meeting will be for all HS sports: bowling, basketball, and wrestling. The Cheer meeting has been rescheduled, a new date will be announced soon.
We will still hold the Parent & Player Meeting for Wrestling, Basketball, and Bowling as planned.

Her ability to read hitters, make clutch saves, and keep rallies alive has made her one of the most reliable and respected players on the court for the Cougars. She brings heart, grit, and leadership to every single practice and game. In our Regional Final game, she had 20 digs against Regina and was getting every ball up that was hit toward her direction." -Coach Nuss
“Jaci has elevated her performance during the second half of the season. Her growth in both her physical and mental confidence has been a driving force behind our postseason success. Jaci’s determination and belief in her training have allowed her to be able to dig deep when the races get tough. Our Cougar Girls Cross Country team will arrive back in town around 8:15 p.m. They’ll take a well-deserved victory lap with the fire trucks, followed by ringing the victory bell at the high school. Afterwards, everyone is invited to join the celebration at the Country Club.
Run, Cougars, run!
Back in Dodge, our runners didn’t just chase medals- they chased memories, milestones, and moments that define what it means to be a team. They ran like champions today picking up a 2nd place trophy, the finish line was earned with sweat, support, and Cougar pride.
Coach Jones and this incredible group led with their heart, passion, and belief all season showing what true leadership and commitment look like from start to finish.
The miles may be over, but the legacy of this team lives on. When you’ve got Coach Jones, Coach Wright, and the right runners… you get the right team with the Wright dream.
