Cougar youth basketball camp this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (June 9-11 ) at SFHS.

SF Varsity Baseball schedule update: the South Winn double header scheduled for Tuesday June 9 has been canceled. Due to rescheduling of conference games for South Winn.

Tonight's Cougar JV/V Softball game @ Jesup has been postponed until Tuesday, June 23rd.

Today's Cougar Baseball game with Jesup has been postponed. The tentative makeup date will be this Friday. Softball is currently still on as scheduled in Jesup, we will update you if that changes.

Cougar baseball update: tonight's game vs Jesup will be played in Sumner. Varsity will start at 5 pm, with JV to follow if time allows. Softball will still be played in Jesup tonight as scheduled.

Due to the forecast for later today, we are going to flip our Varsity and JV games today for BB and SB for SFHS baseball and softball.

Varsity baseball and softball will start at 3:30 pm vs Hudson, and JV will follow the Varsity games.

ATTENTION! SFHS Blue and Golf gyms will be closed for maintenance June 18-26. Both High School gyms will be unavailable for use during this time period.

Monday: JV/V Baseball home vs G-R, 3:30 pm
Tuesday: JV/V BB & SB at Grundy Center, 5 pm
Thursday: JV/V BB & SB home vs Hudson (Youth Night- Free entry for SF students and CBF malts for purchase), 3:30 pm
Friday: JV/V Baseball home vs Starmont, 3:30 pm. V Softball at NF-V Tournament.
Saturday: V Softball at NF-V Tournament.

Reminders:
1. Tickets can be pre-purchaed on Bound or at the gate with a card.
2. No animals are allowed at our facilities for games. Your pets will be more comfortable cheering on the Cougars at home

2026 Jr. Cougar Golf Camp

Hosted by Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougar Golf coaches Josh Krueger and Jalen Tranbarger, along with current Cougar Golf members and volunteers.
Camp includes 3 days of instruction, drills, and play.

Dates: June 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Where: Meadowbrook Country Club
Time: 9:00 AM--10:30 AM
Who: Camp is open to all current 2nd through 8th graders.
Camp Fee: $30 Checks payable to Cougar Golf

Equipment: Campers must bring their own clubs. Golf balls and tees provided.

Bank Iowa Student-Athletes of the Week: Jace Brinkman, Gavin Trask, Livy Schoonover, and Braelyn Suckow

Cougar Baseball & Softball are back at it this week!

State Track Day 3 Recap: Sydney Zupke ran a personal best in the 800 to finish 20th. Braelyn Suckow earned a medal with a 5th place finish in the 100 Meters. What an incredible three days at State Track & Field for our Cougars! We are proud of the effort, toughness, and pride our athletes showed while competing against the best in Iowa. Thank you to our coaches, families, and fans for the amazing support all season long. GO COUGARS!

State Track Day 2 Recap: The Distance Medley Relay team of Cate Snyder, Braelyn Suckow, Livy Schoonover and Sydney Zupke ran a season best time of 4:17.18 to place 11th. Gavin Trask finished his career at State in the discus.

State Track Day 1 recap: Braelyn Suckow broke her school record in 200 and placed 11th with a time of 25.95. Gavin Trask placed 5th and medaled in the Shot Put with a throw of 54'0.5". Braelyn Suckow qualified for the finals of the 100 with a time of 12.67. Livy Schoonover placed 9th with her best time of the year in the 400 with a time of 59.81. Jace Brinkman placed 7th and medaled while breaking the school record in the 400 with a time of 50.22.

A big thank you to the Brinkman family for their generous meal donation to our student-athletes. Go Cougars!
