Bank Iowa Student-Athletes of the Week: Callie Trainor and Liam Steege.

“Callie has been an anchor for us in the middle over the past few seasons, and watching her step up as a Senior is going to be something special. She brings experience, steady composure, and a leadership style her teammates naturally follow. What makes Callie so impressive isn't just her skill—it’s her grit. She’s battled through her share of obstacles on the court, and every single one has made her a stronger player and leader. We can't wait to see what you accomplish this year!” -Coach Nuss

“Liam Steege was the best leader on our team last season and because of the work he put in to serve others it has transformed him to being successful as a leader and a football player on our current team. In his first game back after tearing his ACL he amassed 86 rushing yards, two touchdowns and a fumble recovery in our dominating win. I look forward to seeing his success continue on and off the field!” -Coach Coyle
