Thank you to all of our visitors who came to Kindergarten's Grandparents' Day. We enjoyed having you watch them sing and color with them. It's always fun to hear their responses to guessing your age.

Thanks to our Cross Country Team members for coming out early to give Friday High Fives as kids arrived for the day. The kids also looked great in their "picture clothes" this morning. Lots of smiles today!

Game Day!! Cougars vs Oelwein, tonight.
Cougars ran tough tonight in a very stout meet at NFV. Almost all runners either ran personal records or season bests tonight. Way to go Cougs!! The boys team finished 4th as a team out of 12! PR's across the board!! Most girls were also able to run PR’s and leading the pack with another broken school record, was Hillary Trainor winning tonight in 18:36.2. Also medaling with another PR of her own was Rylee Shonka placing 14th. The lady Cougars also finished with a strong 3rd place as a team. Go Cougars!
JV Cougar Football on Monday Sept. 11 has been canceled.

Thanks to CBF for tickets for students to get into last Friday night's football game. The Cougar Mascot was a hit with the kids!
The Pride of Sumner-Fred! Last Friday night they rocked the school song, National Anthem, and the opener to their contest show: Little Shop of Horrors. Mr. Koch has a great group this year, make plans to hear them play. They sound GREAT!
