As part of the "Snowball Fun" Cougar Way Reward, FES classes played Snowball Dodgeball this afternoon. Each class sent its winner to the Championship Game. The Snowball Dodgeball Champion is Krew Steege. The staff also competed, and the winner was Miss Njus. The winner of each class got a Hostess Snowball.
FES students earned another Cougar Way Reward today. The message on the board was "Snowball Fun". This morning, classes did a Snowball Toss game. Each student got three snowballs to throw in buckets with different point levels. Tate Meyer was the only student to land his snowball in the most challenging bucket worth 10 points. Mr. Schmitz's 2nd grade class had the highest class average, so they got an extra recess.
February is Reading is Fun month at FES. This year's theme is Saddle Up and Read. The class that read the most for Week 1 is Miss Beyer's 2nd grade. They will have the traveling trophy in their room. Congratulations!

Parents of SF 8th graders, please mark your calendars for the incoming Freshman scheduling night on Tuesday, February 20 from 7:00-8:00 pm in the high school auditorium. Please join the high school teachers that night as we discuss class offerings for Freshmen and create both their schedule for Freshman year and also their 4-year high school plan.
