Last Friday, the FCCLA students gave high fives to students as they walked into the school. The students ask each week who the high fivers will be and are interested in learning about each group. The FCCLA group did a fantastic job of getting our students excited about coming to school. FCCLA did a fantastic job representing our high school!
This morning, the girls track team joined us for High Five Friday. So far, they have been one of the most exciting groups that we have had as they greeted, cheered, and, of course, gave high fives to students as they walked through the door. The smiles on students' faces were so big when they saw such a large group of people at the door to greet them. It's fun to watch students and teachers recognize the familiar faces who have been here to greet them several times this year.

MS Co-Ed track meet for today is Canceled-April 18. They will have practice & shuttle leaves at 5:15pm.
MS update to track meet tomorrow Thursday April 18 at HS. It will NOW be a co-ed meet (girls & boys) starting 4:30pm with GIRLS Field Events & SHUTTLE HURDLE RELAY G/B. BOYS Running events will begin at 5:00 p.m.
MS activities-Weights at 6:45am on Mondays and Wednesdays -no shuttle! No MS activities after school on Wednesdays
The high school boys track meet at Oelwein for tonight has been canceled.
MS girls track meet at decorah is cancelled.

The MS boys home track meet today is postponed. Boys will have practice after school. Shuttle leaves 5:15.

In the event of a severe thunderstorm, or a tornado warning buses will not depart the schools and students/staff will not be released during a warning. As of this writing, we are in a watch only. This is only a precautionary reminder and would apply any day of the year.
NEIU soccer reminder, there is no soccer match in Fredericksburg tonight vs NFV. That soccer match will be played on 4/25/24.

Due to the less than ideal weather forecast for this Tuesday, we will move our home golf meet to this Monday. Cougar B/G golf will golf at Meadowbrook vs Union this Monday 4/15/24 @ 4pm.
SFMS will go to the Cresco Fitness Center tomorrow April 12. 5/6 will leave at 8:15 and return at 11:30. 7/8 will leave at 11:35 and will return by 3pm. Bring swim suit/towel (if swimming), tennis shoes, water bottle. Students will eat lunch at school.
