Last Friday, FFA students came to Durant to welcome students with high fives! Students are always excited to high five the high school students who come visit. Later that afternoon, students learned a song about Caring, honored March Super Cougars, and celebrated birthdays at ENCORE!

Excelerating Sumner sponsored an Easter Coloring Contest for students in grades Preschool - 4th grade. SFHS Art students made the color sheets for each grade. Here are our winners from each class.
"The Sumner-Fredericksburg High School Choir and Mrs. Sittig's class joined forces with Sonja Lampe to assemble 233 baskets for the Easter Basket Scramble. The students truly enjoyed helping and are looking forward to next year."
Shout out to these Middle School Strength & Conditioning attendance leaders! Coach Kenan is thrilled to see the progress and excitement among the athletes as they engage in this new program, learning essential lifting techniques and building a strong foundation for their physical well-being. The positive energy and hard work from our students have truly made this group exceptional.

Thanks to everyone that donated blood at our SFMS Health Fair and Blood Drive on March 14!!!
'Twas the last week for Pennies for the Pantry, when all through the school,
Not a single teacher wanted to kiss a pig, but they were all playing it cool.
The jars of coins were lined up with care,
In hopes that this money for the pantry would soon go there.
The children were all restless in their seat,
While the vision of their teacher kissing a pig was such a treat.
And the shade of lipstick was picked out,
Which teacher would wear it and would he or she pout?
The brand new S-F Middle School Strength and Conditioning Program is off to a great start! Check out this strong group of athletes showing up to better themselves and their team! The goal of this program is to lay a solid foundation for the athletic development of these students. The program will be focused on proper lifting technique, speed and agility, and injury prevention for our young athletes. The Middle School sessions are open to all students currently in grades 7-8. If you have any questions about the program, please reach out to Mrs. Kenan.
