Come out to Cougar field for all of the festivities. Go Cougars!

Due to low available numbers for our opponent the curtain raiser football game for this Friday has been canceled. The Varsity game will still start at 7 PM Friday. We will also still have a JV football game Monday at 6 PM at SFHS. We will make the following adjustments to our Senior Night schedule for Friday: Football Seniors will be announced at approximately 6:35 PM with Cross-Country Seniors to follow. Band and Cheer will still be announced at halftime.

FES had the September Cougar Way Assembly today. In the beginning of the year skit, Auntie Em bought Dorothy new, sparkly shoes for the first day of school. In today's skit, Dorothy was at school with her friend and had to change her shoes for PE class. While Dorothy was at PE, the Wicked Witch blew in with the Tornado of Bad Character and broke the Trustworthiness Pillar by stealing Dorothy's ruby slippers! When Dorothy returned from PE, she was devastated to learn that her beloved shoes were missing!

The theme at FES this year is the Wizard of Oz. The skits at our Cougar Way Assemblies are going to have the characters from the Wizard of Oz helping us learn the character pillars along the yellow brick road. Our Para Educators are representing our Lollipop Guild who hand out lollipops to our Star Cougars. Thank you to Lynne Harris for making awesome shirts for our paras to wear during our assemblies. Congratulations to our September Star Cougars! We are so proud of you! We also celebrated September birthdays today.
