Come enjoy fairy tales as you've never experienced them before! These SF middle schoolers have taken their stage by storm and have concocted a chaotic, sarcastic, hilarious, and mostly kid-friendly dramatic production of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon by Don Zolidis. We promise you've never heard tales quite like these, but we're pretty sure you'll have at least an "okay" time!
Shows on March 26th, 27th, and 28th at SFMS.
No refunds.....even if you have no idea what's going on. Most of the cast doesn't either!

Our seven, 5-8th grade Battle of the Books teams put their knowledge to the test today with a practice round as they gear up for competition in the upcoming weeks. These students are diving into some serious reading, with 5th graders tackling 25 books from the Iowa Children's Choice awards list, while our sixth through 8th graders read 15 books from the Iowa Teen Award list. Their focused teamwork and book smarts were on full display this morning!

We are so thankful for all of the students and vendors who have made our Health Fair such a success over the years! This year, around 20 vendors spent the afternoon with us, and we truly appreciate the time and support they gave to our students. A special shoutout to Tori Sorenson for organizing the event, and thank you to Ann Scroggins for the generous donation of prizes! We appreciate everyone who helps make this event so meaningful each year!

MS Families: due to the forecasted weather strength and conditioning for tomorrow (3/17) morning is canceled.
MS Large group is postponed tomorrow, March 13, due to NFV having a 2hr late start. The rescheduled date is to be determined.
SFMS 8th grade science students conducted a chemistry lab to determine when and if color change indicates a chemical reaction.

Our 6th grade students are hard at work editing and finalizing their argumentative writing pieces! They participated in peer conferencing, collaborating with classmates to review each other’s work, offer feedback, and make thoughtful corrections. It’s great to see students strengthening their writing while learning the value of constructive feedback and teamwork!
