Starting tomorrow (5/9/2023), students will load and unload from the bus on the north side (2nd street) of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sumner. This is due to the Church entering a new phase of their remodeling project and heavy equipment being utilized. This will continue for the rest of the year. SFCSD appreciates the partnership with Church to provide a centrally located bus stop off the road.

Sumner and Fredericksburg Preschoolers took a field trip to Suhr Dairy and Friends Annual Farm Tours this week. They had the opportunity to learn about, pet and feed many different farm animals: cows, pigs, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, bunnies, a donkey and an alpaca! They also enjoyed frozen yogurt, playing at the corn table and milking a cow! Durant PK Pictures.

Durant Kindergarten students went on a field trip Tuesday. We had a fun but windy day on our trip! We started the day with looking at the animals at Fontana. We then visited the nature center which was followed by activities about nocturnal animals. We learned more about owls and played a game called owls and mice. We ate lunch in a wind protected shelter and ended it with a lot of play time at the park.
