What an incredible week for our Sumner-Fredericksburg middle schoolers in Washington D.C.! They saw so much history and culture. Highlights included the Holocaust Museum, National Zoo, Ford's Theatre, Mount Vernon, and countless powerful monuments. The kids were fantastic, and a special thanks to all the parents who joined the trip.

CONGRATS to our S-F Girls Golf Team for their 3rd Place finish at the 2A IGHSAU State Golf Tournament in Boone!
AND A MAJOR CONGRATS to Chloe Bolte for earning her 4th CONSECUTIVE STATE TITLE as Individual State Medalist for the 4th straight year! This is an unheard of feat in the history of the state of Iowa - a 4-time State Champion!

Chloe Bolte, Katie Swehla, Kylee Krueger, Greyson Smith, Gracie Bloes, & Alexa Buhman will be shooting for a REPEAT of their 2024 2A State Championship!
SF Cougar Nation has been fortunate enough to send many successful student athletes to state tournaments over the years. As many of you know from experience, those memories will last a lifetime.
This year, our girls golf team has punched their ticket to compete in the 2A girls state golf meet. Way to go ladies!
This will be an unforgettable experience for these young ladies but also expensive. I believe we should provide these athletes with a great experience which will allow them to perform at their best while being fiscally responsible. One tradition we have is to take these athletes our for a nice meal. We are sending 6 golfers and 2 coaches this year.
Golf does not generate money and we rely on fundraising efforts to help support the program. Any Sumner/ Fredericksburg community member, business, or alumni that would wish to donate to keep our traditions alive please send myself or coach Jalen Tranbarger a message.
