SFHS Student-Athletes of the Week: Braelyn Suckow and Dyson Koch! Braelyn went 4-1 with a 3rd place finish for Cougar Wrestling last week and Dyson bowled a 222 at Decorah in the season opener. Congratulations Braelyn and Dyson!


MS activities this week Nov. 27-Dec.2.
Mon-BWR travels to Wapsie Valley HS 4:15 & GBB at home w/Jesup 8th plays first 4:15.
Tues-GBB travels to South Winn (Ossian) 7th plays first 4:15.
Wed-GBB early 6:30AM practice shuttle leaves HS 6:10.
Thur-BWR travels to NFV (Elgin) 4:15 & GBB at home w/Cresco 7th plays first 4:15.
Fri-BWR home meet 4:15.
Sat-NEIBA 7th/8th Honor Band at Oelwein Natalie Prosser was selected! Concert at 5pm! Congrats!

Just in time for the Holidays, the Class of 2025 has reopened their Cougar Clothing store! The "homecoming" design is back along with some other options. Store closes on 11/30/23 and all orders will be back on 12/18/23 so they can be wrapped and placed under the tree.

Thank you to Mrs. Westendorf for making the turkey cookies and frosting for FES today! They were so good! We are so THANKFUL for Mrs. Westendorf's baking talent!

FES students earned another Cougar Way Reward today! They frosted and decorated a turkey cookie...and then gobbled it down!










This morning the Kindergarten class along with some fourth-grade helpers had to solve the case of The Pumpkin Pie Bandit. They had to complete each challenge to receive a clue and eliminate the suspects. In the end, the pirate was the bandit. Thank you Mrs. Harkrader for coming up with these fun activities, and thank you fourth-graders for being such great helpers today!







Congratulations to Mara Krivachek and Lyndee Westin! They were the winners of a poster contest for Conservation Districts of Iowa Division 2 Region 3.

Mr. Nuss's Science classes competed in the Conservation District of Iowa Poster Contest and Addison Rhea won for our region. She was presented with her certificate and award. Congratulations!!!

SFHS Students and Parents: as the Winter Sports seasons are upon us, here is a friendly reminder regarding school attendance.
Students participating in activities must attend school all day in order to practice, play in a game and or event must be supported by a doctor's note.

SCOREBOARD: Will Show a Max of 5 Fouls a Quarter

The SF Class of 2027 is selling ornaments as their class fundraiser. The ornament prices will be one for $10 or two for $15, sales will be from Nov. 20th - Dec. 18th at home events!
