Parents of SF 8th graders, please mark your calendars for the incoming Freshman scheduling night on Tuesday, February 20 from 7:00-8:00 pm in the high school auditorium. Please join the high school teachers that night as we discuss class offerings for Freshmen and create both their schedule for Freshman year and also their 4-year high school plan. Teachers will also share the clubs and activities that freshmen can participate in. Thanks for your time.

The families of Durant Elementary Preschool participated in Valentine Date Night this week. As part of the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program, preschools host a family night once a year to promote family involvement in early learning. At Valentine Date Night, families took a picture at our photo booth and created a valentine to mail to someone special!

SFHS Student-Athlete of The Week: Hillary Trainor & Connor Kramer. Hillary earned her 100th win as she pinned her way to qualifying for State and placed 4th at the State Meet last week. Connor saw his first varsity action at Grundy Center and bowled a season high game of 255. Congratulations Hillary and Connor!

Boys BB game at Jesup Mon Feb 5-8th grade 4:15 followed by 7th grade. Both will play a 5th qtr. Tue Feb 6-8th gr home (multi) 4:15 2 games and 7th gr at NH 4:15 2 games. Thur game at MFL (McGregor) 7th plays first 4:15 1 game followed by 5th qtr then 8th gr 1 game with 5th qtr. Wed AM practice and Fri after school practice.
