On Tuesday, the 5th grade students attended an all day field trip at Alcock Park, where they got to experience a variety of outdoor activities. Some of these activities included archery, canoeing, river study, yoga, disc golf, backpacking food, rocks and fossils, plants on the roadside, and much more! What an amazing experience for these students!

Shoutout to the first ever group of student-athletes who have joined the SFMS Strength & Conditioning Program. Your dedication and commitment to improving your athletic abilities are commendable. This program serves as the foundation of our school's athletic endeavors, and we are excited to see the continued growth and development of these talented athletes.

Miss Hoth is against distressed jeans, so the FES Staff came to the last day of school (and the last day of her being our principal) dressed as Rock Stars. We surprised her by having the students line the hallway and played "School's Out for the Summer." She walked the hall and gave students high-fives on their last day. FES wishes everyone a great summer!

FES had their last Cougar Way Assembly of the year today. We celebrated May and August Birthdays, recognized Star Cougars, and Ms. Hoth presented Perfect Attendance Certificates. Each class took a picture with Ms. Hoth since this was her last day being our principal. We watched our year-end movie. Thank you to Miss Henniges for putting this movie together for us each year. You can watch our movie at: https://youtu.be/qUuHQ4T8hg8

Tuesday was a beautiful day for Durant Track & Field day!

Every year, third-grade at FES celebrates Poetry Cafe Day. Mrs. Boltz magically turns their desks into a fancy banquet table, and she serves snacks. The students share their poetry books that they have written. Mrs. Boltz is a gem of a teacher, and we thank her for working so hard to inspire a love of writing into our students!

FES 3rd grade students, Coy Brinkman, Eben Brincks, and Grayson Fayer, have been taking good care of our butterfly garden. They spend their precious recess time doing some weeding.
