Following ENCORE, students took their first trip to the Cougar Store to pick out a small prize for following the Cougar Way so far this school year!

Sumner-Fredericksburg CSD Monthly School Board Meeting:
Monday, October 14th @ S-F HS Library: Please note the time change from 5:00 to 4:30 PM.

FES earned a Cougar Way Reward today. Students went to the Pool Park. Jasmine, a third-grade student, said this code was too easy and she has known it for days because we've done this one before. So the next Cougar Code is going to be something we haven't done before and more challenging to guess, so we will see who can break the code before all the letters are revealed. Here are pictures of our Kindergarten class enjoying the Pool Park.

Thank you to Meg Volker for setting up this sharing library at FES. She even donated two chairs and a bench for a place to wait and read. The Lantow girls took home books and returned them this morning. This is a great addition to the front of our building and encourages the sharing of books. Thank you, Meg, for your generosity!

These boys talked about the importance of proper lifting technique, working hard during speed and agility drills, trusting the process, and how strength and conditioning has positively impacted their athletic development. Thanks for being great role models for our youth, and I truly appreciate your dedication to inspire the next generation.
-Coach Kenan

SFHS Student-Athlete of the Week: Alexa Buhman and Cougar Football O-Line & D-Line
“Alexa has shown remarkable growth in both her confidence and decision-making on the court. As an offensive leader, she is continually improving her skills through hard work and determination. Recently, Alexa achieved two major milestones: recording her 2,000th career assist and her 500th career dig.” -Coach Buhman
“The Cougar OL and DL owned the line of scrimmage and allowed us to be successful on Friday as they dominated both lines. They are the foundation of our team and have been the glue that has kept us together and working hard.” -Coach Coyle

Townsquare Media will have K92.3 at our game tonight vs Denver. They will be playing music to help pump up the crowd, giving away free goodies, and taking pictures with the students and parents. They will be going live with radio hits from the school before our Cougar Senior Night game. CBF will be serving an awesome ribeye sandwich pregame too.
