MS students competed in Mathcounts at Hawkeye Community College on Feb 28. As a team we placed 6th. Top 3 teams & top 10 individuals advance to state. We had Natalie Prosser place 16th and Paxton Frost place 17th! Congrats!

The 7th grade design and modeling class created puzzle cubes to challenge staff and students on!
MS 8th grade Health class is putting on a Health Fair on March 8 from 1-3 & blood drive from 1-5. Community is invited to attend both. Please see the attached flier to sign up to donate for the blood drive.
We are rescheduling the MS skating party for next week. Details are below.
Monday, February 27th- 5th & 6th graders will skate from 3:15-5:30 p.m. The Variety Show for 5th & 6th graders will follow at 6:30 p.m. Students need to be ready and in their designated locations by 6:10 p.m.
Tuesday, February 28th- 7th & 8th graders will skate from 3:15-5:30 p.m. The Variety Show for 7th & 8th graders will follow at 6:30 p.m. Students need to be ready and in their designated locations by 6:10 p.m.
Admission to skate is $3.00. The concession stand will be open. Skating will only be in the multipurpose room.
Students who are in the musical will have practice each night from 3:15-4:15 p.m. and then can go skate. There is a shuttle both days that will leave the middle school at 5:15 pm.
S-F is now closed for February 23 due to freezing drizzle and road conditions. An announcement on conferences will be made later this morning.
S-F will have a 2-hr late start for Thursday, February 23. No AM practices or activities
The SF boys and girls basketball teams will have their awards banquet on Tuesday February 28th @ 6 PM in the SFHS Student Center. Please bring a dish to share.
S-F will cancel school for Wednesday, February 22 due to the forecast and weather warnings.
