Fredericksburg Elementary had their Cougar Way assembly Thursday with a pirate theme. We celebrated birthdays, STAR students, and first semester perfect attendance. The staff dressed up and shared a skit with the students.
MS 7/8 grade TAG students held a grilled cheese competition today and results are in thanks to our judges Mrs. Maher, Mrs. Rochford & Mr. T. Volker. Our top two teams will compete at the AEA in CF against local schools next week. Good luck!
The Book Fair will be open at Durant Elementary tonight, Thursday, March 2 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please enter the side library door to the west of the main entrance.

Today is the parade of bands for grades 5-12 starting at 7pm in the blue gym at HS. MS students need to be there at 6 to help set up and we would like them to stay afterwards to load our instruments back on the trailer to go back to the MS.
MS students competed in Mathcounts at Hawkeye Community College on Feb 28. As a team we placed 6th. Top 3 teams & top 10 individuals advance to state. We had Natalie Prosser place 16th and Paxton Frost place 17th! Congrats!

A reminder that there will be school tomorrow, March 1, 2023. There is no Teacher Professional Development scheduled in March or April.

This Tuesday night at 6 PM will be the boys & girls basketball and cheerleading awards banquet. We hope to see all players and parents Tuesday night. Go Cougars!
