Baseball & Softball Schedule Update – Game Time Change
Due to the forecast of storms later this afternoon and evening, we are moving today’s doubleheader up to a 2:00 PM start in an effort to get ahead of the weather.

Tonight’s Cougar baseball game has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions at our Gladbrook-Reinbeck's field. Standing water and muddy areas along the first baseline have made the field unsafe for play.
Due to limited availability for the remainder of the season, this game will not be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Cougar Baseball.

SF-T Varsity BB/SB game update: Tonight’s Cougar baseball and softball games at Wapsie Valley have been postponed due to weather. A makeup date has not been determined at this time.
JV BB Game Cancellation: Due to the rain and current wet field conditions, we are cancelling this mornings SF-T Cougar JV baseball game vs Turkey Valley. Varsity BB and SB will a Doubleheader tonight at Wapsie Valley stating at 5 pm.

We are proud to share that Chloe Bolte has been named the Girl Golfer of the Year at the Iowa High School Sports Awards! This prestigious statewide program honors Iowa’s top-performing athletes, coaches, and teams. The culminating event was held June 12, where Chloe was announced as the winner during the awards show. Additional awards this season include: Des Moines Registers All Elite team, IGCA Academic All-State, IHSGCA 2A Player of the Year, 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Tournament, and Academic All State.
Congratulations, Chloe! Your hard work, dedication, and talent continue to represent SFHS well.

CONGRATULATIONS COUGAR GOLF! Our Sumner-Fredericksburg Girls Golf Team brought home 3rd place at the State Golf Meet! What a finish to an incredible season. Congratulations Chloe, Gracie, Kylee, Kate, Greyson and Alexa! A special congratulations to Chloe Bolte, who not only won the individual state title but also made Iowa high school history by becoming just the third 4-TIME STATE CHAMPION ever in girls golf! An accomplishment that reflects years of hard work, focus, and leadership. We are so proud of this entire team and coaching staff for their dedication and accomplishments. You’ve made our school and community incredibly proud! You’re invited to a reception at Meadowbrook Golf Course at 9:00 PM on the patio to celebrate our girls golf team! Please note: We kindly ask that everyone remain on the patio during the reception, as there is a private graduation party taking place inside the clubhouse. Let’s be respectful of their celebration while we enjoy our own.
