On Wednesday, April 17th the seniors had the opportunity to play the "Game of Life!" They chose their career and were given a realistic income that they had to spend paying loans, buying a house, car, insurance, daycare, groceries, and other surprise expenses!
A special Thank you to Kim Hoffman and Zak Knutson from Innovative Wealth Management, LLC of Jesup, IA for helping set up this first year's event and to all the Sumner, Fredericksburg, and surrounding area community and business leaders who volunteered their time to make this such a success.

The award winning 3 Cheese Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich was featured at the MS and HS today. We would like to thank our local vendor The Meatery on Main in Fredericksburg for the wonderful brisket. This was a big hit with our students and faculty. We will have these again!

Last Friday, the FCCLA students gave high fives to students as they walked into the school. The students ask each week who the high fivers will be and are interested in learning about each group. The FCCLA group did a fantastic job of getting our students excited about coming to school. FCCLA did a fantastic job representing our high school!

This morning, the girls track team joined us for High Five Friday. So far, they have been one of the most exciting groups that we have had as they greeted, cheered, and, of course, gave high fives to students as they walked through the door. The smiles on students' faces were so big when they saw such a large group of people at the door to greet them. It's fun to watch students and teachers recognize the familiar faces who have been here to greet them several times this year.

Due to the frost warnings for tomorrow AM, New Hampton is changing the start time of the boys golf tournament to 10:00 am. Go Cougars!
