So it's a good thing we have Nate, the tech guy.
When your signal is "weak",
And you're about to freak,
We call Nate.
When your page won't load,
And your head is about to explode,
We call Nate.
When the iPads don't produce sound,
And no solution can be found,
We call Nate.
When your Chromebook is a lemon and decides to quit,
And you are in the middle of throwing a fit,
We call Nate.
When you open an email that is bad,
And now you are feeling sad,
We call Nate.
When you click on a dangerous link,
And now a virus is on the brink,
We call Nate.
In 4 buildings between 2 towns, he has a lot on his plate,
Happy IT Professionals' Day to Nate,
One day late.
SF recently welcomed Tyson,
And he should help out a ton.
So thank you to both of you,
For all that you do!
*Disclaimer: SF staff, do not call Nate. This line was used for literary purposes only. Please follow protocol and submit a help ticket through email when encountering a technology issue.

A team of No Boundaries Northeast students presented a renovation plan to Mr. Vonk and Mrs. Miehe from Future Frontiers today. The students did a great job of talking about things in the room they would like to remedy to make the spaces more functional. Students then took the meeting's feedback and created their next plan of action to make the space into a working showroom for Premier Furniture! The end goal is have students work with other school districts as they select new furniture.

Fredericksburg Elementary was feeling extra patriotic today! Our students showed off their red, white, and blue for American Day to kick of Homecoming week! 🎉🐾

And yes, sometimes life skills look like changing a tire! 🚗💪 These hands-on experiences help students build confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and the knowledge they’ll carry with them for years to come.

Due to the heat and expected internal classroom temperatures across our campus, we will be dismissing two hours early today (9/1/26) and tomorrow (9/2/26). No middle school activities or events. High school competitions as scheduled with high school football practice moving indoors after school is dismissed.
A special thank you to Sue Beach for partnering with us and allowing our students to have an amazing opportunity!

7th and 8th Grade Science students worked hard on a bubble solution lab today. They are testing three different solutions to determine which makes the biggest table-top bubble. Stay tuned for the results!

Hey Cougar Nation! 🐾
As we continue our Ongoing Connection Campaign, Superintendent Ryan Cunningham is back with our next update on the big moves happening across Sumner-Fredericksburg!
In case you missed our introduction, this year-long effort is all about keeping our community connected to the 5 Key Pillars that shape our district’s future:
1. Bond, Referendum & Building for the Future
2. Demystifying "Future Frontiers" & Regional Growth
3. Transparent School Board Highlights
4. Our Core Academic Initiatives
5. Tools to Keep Families Connected
Today, we're diving into Core Academic Initiatives & Demystifying Future Frontiers with an exciting look at No Boundaries! 💡
Did you know our students are partnering with Premier Furniture to manage and evaluate a real-world corporate showroom right here in our district? 🏢✨
They aren't just learning in a classroom—they’ll be collecting data, speaking at conferences, mastering public speaking, and bringing thousands of dollars in high-end classroom resources back to our district at little to no cost to taxpayers!
Want to hear how a trailer load of $1,100 adjustable desks fits into our work-based learning vision?
🎥 Watch the video HERE to see Mr. Cunningham break down the project directly from the trailer!
📰 Read the full story in this coming week's local paper or HERE to see how "No Boundaries" will be giving our kids a head start on their futures.
As always, whether you read the paper, visit sfcougars.org, or follow us right here through the live feed, we’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Because at the end of the day—we need each other!
Let's build a Solid Foundation and a Strong Future together!
Go Cougars! 💙💛
