A Day – Day 1 for Band Lessons

Announcements
Women of Fredericksburg are collecting Coins for Knebels tomorrow is the last day. Thank you to all who have helped support the family by bringing in your spare change. Ms. Knebel’s son is doing well and finally home resting and healing.
Our Student Council members will be on a field trip to Upper Iowa for a Leadership Summit today.
The volleyball team will have their end of the season party tomorrow. Please have your student give Coach Sorenson $5 for the pizza. The shuttle tomorrow will be earlier at 4:30.
Our football team has their game against Denver today. The game starts at 4:15. 8th grade will play the first game followed by a 7th/8th combo game.
Reminder, the team will have their end of the season equipment turn in party tomorrow, Friday, October 17. Students need to turn $5 into Coach Volker for pizza. The shuttle tomorrow will be earlier at 4:30.
Our cross country team has their NICL Conference meet at Oelwein today. The conference meet will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Oelwein’s Hickory Grove Golf Course.
Cross country’s end of the season pizza party will be next Wednesday, October 22.
Reminder, the Student Led Parent/Teacher Conferences are next week on Tuesday, October 21 and Thursday, October 23 from 3:30-7:30. Both of those days will be 2 hour early dismissals. Friday, October 24 will be a no school day due to conferences.
Girls Basketball will start practice next week. Practice will be after school all 4 days. On Tuesday and Thursday, the two early out day, practice will follow after school from 1:15 until 3:30. There will be a shuttle to the high school at 3:30 those days.
Boys Wrestling will have a pre-season meeting next Wednesday, October 22 during the school day. If your student is interested in wrestling they can attend and will come home with an informational packet. Practices will begin after school until 5:15 on Monday, October 27.
