Our 7th grade class will be going on a class field trip today to the Dubuque area. They will visit the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, Fenelon Elevator, and Eagle Point Park.
Softball and baseball practice starts on Monday, May 19 from after school until 5:00. The shuttle will leave the middle school at 5 p.m. and arrive at the high school at approximately 5:15 p.m. If your student does not yet have their sports physical completed please do that as soon as possible. Student athletes can not practice until they are documented as being medically eligible to participate. If your student completed their physical last year about this time the physical is good for one year plus 30 days for the date the physical was completed.

Summer Opportunities
The Chickasaw County Extension and Outreach is offering some summer camp opportunities. Please see this flyer for more information on a Soccer Camp and this flyer for a variety of other day camps offered.
If any 1st-12th grader is interested in participating in the 2025 Cougar Pride Football Camp in early August can sign up. At Camp your student will receive individualized instruction, group fundamentals and team concepts by high school and middle school coaches. Please see this informational/sign up flyer to register.
