Today our boys track team heads to Oelwein for a meet. The meet will begin at 4:15 at the high school track.
We had an awards assembly this morning where students received prizes and certificates. The Top Chicken Dinner Seller received recognition. Students who made growth with their ISASP testing this year were in a drawing for prizes. Students received certificates for the sports they participated in and for being members of Student Council, ISTEP, Hope Squad. Our 5th grade Band Karate Black Belt winners and Honor Choir were acknowledged. TAG students had many accomplishments recognized.
Our 8th grade class will be going on a class field trip tomorrow to Des Moines. They will be visiting the Capitol, Terrace Hill and the State Historical Museum. The bus departs the middle school at 6:00 a.m. and the high school at 6:30 a.m. Students should return between 6:00-6:30 p.m. The first drop off will be at the high school then the middle school.
Reminder that on Monday, May 12 at 6:30 in the main gym is our MS Fine Arts and 8th Grade Recognition Night.
The Chickasaw County Extension and Outreach is offering some summer camp opportunities. Please see this flyer for more information on a Soccer Camp and this flyer for a variety of other day camps offered.
If any 1st-12th grader is interested in participating in the 2025 Cougar Pride Football Camp in early August can sign up. At Camp your student will receive individualized instruction, group fundamentals and team concepts by high school and middle school coaches. Please see this informational/sign up flyer to register.
