This week is Hope Week.  The Hope Squad has activities planned for the week.  One activity is dress up days. The following are the themes for the week:

Thursday - Tee-rific, wear shirts with kind words

Friday - Better Together, dress as your favorite squad 

There will be NO morning Strength and Conditioning tomorrow.

Congratulations to the 8th Grade girls track team with their 2nd place finish among the 8 teams at North Fayette-Valley last night. The 7th grade girls' team finished in 4th place. 

1st place finishers were Jade L. in the open 100 and the 200 hurdles. 

8th grade girls softball players:  There are no softball morning practices or open gyms this week.  Official HS practice starts Monday, May 5 outside at the HS softball field at 3:30pm (For those 8th graders not involved in track). If any MS track girls want to attend the 5pm quick practice with the HS track/golfers, they are welcomed to come, but there will not be a shuttle back to Fredericksburg. Quick practices are about 45 minutes. MS Track has priority over any softball right now. 

The Chickasaw County Extension and Outreach is offering some summer camp opportunities.  Please see this flyer for more information on a Soccer Camp and this flyer for a variety of other day camps offered.

If any 1st-12th grader is interested in participating in the 2025 Cougar Pride Football Camp in early August can sign up.  At Camp your student will receive individualized instruction, group fundamentals and team concepts by high school and middle school coaches.  Please see this informational/sign up flyer to register.  All questions can be directed to Coach Coyle at coylej@sfcougars.k12.ia.us
