9/15-9/18 Homecoming Week

Due to security issues over the weekend students and staff will need to change your password.  The system will prompt you to do this when you login.  Also a reminder that only school issued devices can be used in school.  Outside devices are against the technology policy.

There will be an FCCLA meeting today during homebase for anyone interested in learning more about FCCLA and anyone who plans to continue their membership from last year. Please make sure you attend!

FBLA is hosting a donut social on Friday, 9/11 in Mrs. Overton's room during Homebase, come grab a donut, meet the leadership team and learn more about FBLA. Join today!

Silver Cord Opportunity

Laura Albert and Holly Schemmel are seeking PM release students, in the month of September, that would be willing to help with tree clean-up in Sumner or painting displays that will be in the light display for Christmas at City Park. If interested, please contact Mrs. Reinke or Mrs. Price as soon as possible.

The athletic department is looking for 1-2 people interested in helping with video broadcasts of games and production of video broadcasts.  See Mr. Quigley if interested.  

Guest Student Homecoming Dance Request forms are available at the office and are due back by Sept 16.

Juniors & Seniors: Experience the Real World with CAPS!

Looking for something different from a traditional classroom experience? CAPS has openings available for the spring semester!

CAPS gives juniors and seniors the opportunity to gain real-world experience, work with community and business partners, explore career pathways, build professional skills, and participate in state-of-the-art training and hands-on learning.

Build your résumé, make professional connections, and explore what your future could look like, all while earning high school and college credit!

  • 🚌Activity Shuttle to Fredericksburg:  

    • Wed Sept 9th:  NONE

    • Thurs Sept 10th:  6:00

    • Fri Sept 11th:  NONE

 **🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • 🚙Parking:  Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.  Once your registration is approved, you'll be issued a permit to hang from your rearview mirror. Please be aware that all permits must be returned at the end of the school year to avoid a fee.

  • Fun in the Son Daycare in Fredericksburg is looking for after school child care employees. Must be 16 years old. Please stop in to apply. 

  • Homebase Reminder: Check in with your homebase teacher before going to Cougar Time or any other homebase activities. Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence.

  • Wellness Reminder: During the school day, from entry into the building until 3:45 pm, students are not permitted to have or consume soda pop, energy drinks, coffee, or any drinks not sold by the district in the building.

  • Parking Reminders:

    • All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.

    • Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=warning, 2nd violation=$5 fine, 3rd violation=$10 fine, 4th violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.

    • No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing
