**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.
Finals are officially here! Today, we kick things off with 1st and 2nd period, followed by lunch and homebase. Freshmen and Juniors have A lunch, while Sophomores have B lunch. When you aren’t at lunch, please report to your homebase for locker clean-out. We will conclude today's finals with your 3rd period class.
Afterward, if a teacher has requested you for Cougar Time, you must report to them. If you weren't requested but need to wait for the bus, please report to the student center. All other students are then free to leave.
Looking ahead: Tomorrow will follow this exact same schedule for 4th, 5th, and 6th periods. Friday will be a shorter day featuring only 7th and 8th period finals, followed by a sack lunch and Cougar Time, leading into a 1:15 PM dismissal. Let’s finish the year strong, Cougars!
Boys Basketball players, after completing locker clean out today, please stop into Mr. Quigley’s room for a quick basketball meeting.
All library materials should have been returned last week. If you still have library books out, get those turned in ASAP or you will be charged for them.
FBLA, FCCLA, or any student looking to earn Silver Cord hours: Ms. Sadler needs your help! See her as soon as possible to sign up for volunteer shifts to serve ice cream at Dairy Days on June 4th and 5th.
If you have silver cord hours to turn in, get those to the office before you leave on Friday.
Clean out your lockers for a cause! If you have school supplies you won’t be using next year, don’t throw them away—consider donating them to classrooms and students in need instead. Mrs. Fuller is hosting a Used School Supply Drive and is accepting donations in Room 108. In addition to standard supplies, she is also collecting magnets from any locker decorations you may be tossing. Swing by Room 108 to drop off your items and help us start next year off right!
Just a reminder that if you have a parking permit, you need to turn it in before you leave on Friday! You can bring them to the office anytime between now and then.
Attention students and staff! Please take one last look through the Lost and Found located by the main office if you are missing a jacket, blue jeans, gloves, or any other personal items. Make sure to claim your belongings as soon as possible, because any items left after this Friday will be donated to charity. Don't wait—go check today!
