On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • Let’s hear it for our incredible Track & Field State Qualifiers! A massive congratulations to Gavin Trask (Shot Put & Discus), Braelyn Suckow (100m & 200m), Livy Schoonover (400m), Sydney Zupke (800m), Jace Brinkman (400m), and the Girls Distance Medley team of Cate Snyder, Braelyn Suckow, Livy Schoonover, and Sydney Zupke for punching their tickets to the state meet. To celebrate their hard work and wish them luck, we will be holding a school-wide send-off this Thursday morning at 9:40 AM at the activity entrance. Good luck on the Blue Oval, everyone!

  • The Cougar Softball team kicks off their season tonight with their very first game on the road at Starmont, with the first pitch set for 5:00 PM. For the players: you are dismissed from class at 2:45 PM for hitting practice before the bus leaves at 3:45 PM. Let's head over, bring the energy, and help the ladies start the season strong. Good luck, Cougars!

  • As we begin our final week, please note the upcoming schedule changes. Today & tomorrow will follow our regular daily schedule. However, things shift starting Wednesday and Thursday, which will consist of three periods and lunch/homebase, followed by Cougar Time. You are permitted to leave after your last class of the day unless a teacher has requested you for Cougar Time—be sure to check your status, as this is your final opportunity to get extra help, make up missing assignments, or finish those last-minute tests. Finally, Friday will feature just two periods, followed by a sack lunch (for those who pre-ordered) and a final session of Cougar Time. Schedules will be linked in the announcements and posted at the office on Tuesday. Please note that buses will still run on their regular schedule; therefore, if you ride the bus home, you must report to your Homebase teacher after lunch to wait for dismissal. Let’s make these last few days count!

  • All library materials should have been returned last week. If you still have library books out, get those turned in ASAP or you will be charged for them.

  • Are you planning to eat lunch at school on Friday? Lunch will be a sack lunch featuring a turkey sub, applesauce, juice, fresh vegetables, chips, and milk. To ensure we have enough food for everyone, you must fill out the Google Form to place your order. All orders must be submitted by Tuesday at noon, so don't wait—get your request in now if you’d like a meal for Friday!

  • Clean out your lockers for a cause! If you have school supplies you won’t be using next year, don’t throw them away—consider donating them to classrooms and students in need instead. Mrs. Fuller is hosting a Used School Supply Drive and is accepting donations in Room 108. In addition to standard supplies, she is also collecting magnets from any locker decorations you may be tossing. Swing by Room 108 to drop off your items and help us start next year off right!

  • Just a reminder that if you have a parking permit, you will need to turn it in before you leave on Friday!

  • Take one last look in the lost & found if you are missing anything. Any items left after Friday will be donated.

  • Fredericksburg Park & Rec is seeking volunteers to help in the food tent during Dairy Days. The food tent will be open Friday and Saturday, June 5th and 6th. This is a great opportunity to get volunteer hours in! If interested in taking a shift, please contact Misty at fburgparkandrec@gmail.com
