5/15 Friday-No Shuttle

**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • Congratulations to the Sumner-Fredericksburg track and field teams on a fantastic performance at the State Qualifying meet at North Fayette Valley! Despite a long night and weather delays, our athletes showed incredible perseverance. A huge shoutout goes to our Girls 4x400 Meter Relay team—Cate Snyder, Braelyn Suckow, Livy Schoonover, and Sydney Zupke—who claimed a 1st place victory with a time of 4:20.08!

Other standout performances included silver-medal finishes by Gavin Trask in the Shot Put, Jace Brinkman in the 400 Meter Dash, Braelyn Suckow in the 100 Meter Dash, and Sydney Zupke in the 800 Meter Run. Braelyn Suckow also added a 3rd place finish in the 200, Livy Schoonover took 3rd in the 400, and the Girls 4x800 Meter Relay team of Ellie Werner, Callie Trainor, Jaci Snyder, and Sydney Zupke also secured a 3rd place finish. Great job to all our competitors for pushing through the storms and representing SF so well!

  • Let’s hear it for our Girls Golf team! Today, the team heads to Clermont to compete in the Regional Tournament. We are so proud of the hard work they’ve put in on the links all season. Let's send them off with plenty of school spirit—Good luck, ladies! Aim for those fairways and play your best!

  • Let’s finish strong, Cougars! As we head into our final week, please note the upcoming schedule changes. Monday and Tuesday will follow our regular daily schedule. However, things shift starting Wednesday and Thursday, which will consist of three periods and lunch, followed by Cougar Time. You are permitted to leave after your last class of the day unless a teacher has requested you for Cougar Time—be sure to check your status, as this is your final opportunity to get extra help, make up missing assignments, or finish those last-minute tests. Finally, Friday will feature just two periods, followed by a sack lunch (for those who pre-ordered) and a final session of Cougar Time. Schedules will be linked in the announcements and posted at the office on Tuesday. Please note that buses will still run on their regular schedule; therefore, if you ride the bus home, you must report to your Homebase teacher after lunch to wait for dismissal. Let’s make these last few days count!

  • Are you planning to eat at school on the final day? Lunch will be a sack lunch featuring a turkey sub, applesauce, juice, fresh vegetables, chips, and milk. To ensure we have enough food for everyone, you must fill out the Google Form to place your order. All orders must be submitted by Wednesday at noon, so don't wait—get your request in now if you’d like a meal for next Friday!

  • Clean out your lockers for a cause! If you have school supplies you won’t be using next year, don’t throw them away—consider donating them to classrooms and students in need instead. Mrs. Fuller is hosting a Used School Supply Drive and is accepting donations in Room 108. In addition to standard supplies, she is also collecting magnets from any locker decorations you may be tossing. Swing by Room 108 to drop off your items and help us start next year off right!

  • Just a reminder that if you have a parking permit, you will need to turn it in before you leave next Friday!

  • Fredericksburg Park & Rec is seeking volunteers to help in the food tent during Dairy Days. The food tent will be open Friday and Saturday, June 5th and 6th. This is a great opportunity to get volunteer hours in! If interested in taking a shift, please contact Misty at fburgparkandrec@gmail.com
