It was a leaderboard takeover yesterday for Cougar Golf! The girls’ team secured an impressive 2nd place finish out of ten teams at Clear Lake, bringing their season record to a dominant 15-1. Leading the way, Kylee Krueger and Greyson Smith both finished tied for 7th place with scores of 89, followed by Kate Swehla (96), Claire Koester (106), and Addison Rhea (126).
On the boys' side, the Cougars also took home 2nd place in a competitive triangular, defeating the Turkey Valley Trojans and finishing just behind the Waukon Indians. Antonio Gitch led the squad as the low Cougar for the night, firing a sharp 40. Huge congratulations to all our golfers on a fantastic performance!
