**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • It’s a busy night for Cougar sports! Our Golf teams are traveling to Maple Hills Country Club to take on Wapsie Valley and MFL MarMac. Golfers will be released at 2:35 PM for a 4:15 PM start. Meanwhile, our Track & Field athletes are headed to NFV; they will be released at 3:05 PM with events kicking off at 4:30 PM. Good luck to all our athletes & go Cougars! ⛳️🏃💨

  • Attention Class of 2027! Today, Mr. Wall & Mr. Cunningham will be hanging out in the Student Center all day to help you complete your schedules for next year and answer any questions. Mr. Cunningham sent you an email yesterday where you can sign up for 1 to 1, 15 minute sessions. There are still plenty of slots open! Sophomores, your scheduling sessions will be on Monday and Freshmen on Tuesday. Watch your inbox for the sign-up link.

  • Get ready for an unforgettable Prom! Sweet Southern Nights is finally here. If you are participating in the Grand March, please be lined up by 6:45 PM, as the march begins promptly at 7:00 PM. The dance will follow starting at 8:00 PM.

To ensure everyone has a safe and fun evening, please keep the following rules in mind:

  • No outside beverages are permitted at the dance or post prom.

  • No re-entry: Once you leave the dance, you will not be allowed back in.

  • Post-Prom Check-in: If you are attending post-prom, you must be checked in by midnight. Please note that if you signed up but do not arrive or you leave early, your parents will be called.

Let's make it a night to remember!

  • 🛟Next week the Hope Squad will celebrate Hope Week, and we would love for you to participate.  Our dress-up days are as follows:

  •  Monday--Inside/Out Day: wear your clothes inside out (no under garments can be visible)

  • Tuesday--Twin/Triplet Day: Dress up like your bestie or besties

  • Wednesday--Wear RED Day: there may be some sweet treats in it for you! 

  • Thursday--Make some Music: Wear some apparel or merch from your favorite recording artist

  • Friday--Student/Teacher Swap Day--kids dress like a grown-up/grown-ups, dress like a kid. 

We will also have activities planned for each day of the week.  Signs will be posted around the building to let you know what to expect.  

  • Attention Cougar athletes! If you are planning to participate in Wrestling or Cross Country next year, please attend the upcoming informational meetings in the Gold Gym during Homebase. The meeting for Boys and Girls Wrestling will take place on May 4, followed by the meeting for Boys and Girls Cross Country on May 11. Coaches will be discussing essential details regarding summer training and activities, so make sure to be there!

  • Student Senate and Class Officer applications are available for pick up at the office. Student Senate forms are due to Mrs. Schilling by May 5th, and Class Officer forms are due to her by May 6th.

  • Seniors Announcements:

    • 🎉15 days of school left!🥳

    • Today-Girls & any guys who were not here last Friday, graduation gown fitting; bring the shoes you plan to wear for graduation.

    • All library materials must be returned by May 6th! Get those books turned in to avoid fees. If you have any outstanding library books or unpaid fees or negative lunch balances, you will not be allowed to walk at graduation!

  • Library materials for everyone else are due back by May 13th!

  • Summer Driver Education class through Homesafe Driving School is now open for registration.  Registration can be found at homesafedrivered.com/classes.  Class will run from May 13th through June 27th.  This class is limited to 16 students. 📵 Classroom Phone Policy

  • Phones must be put away in the designated class holder at the beginning of the period and should not be taken out until the class is over.

  • Phones are not permitted for use during instructional time—period.

What Happens if the Policy is Violated?

  • 1st Time: Phone is immediately taken and held at the Main Office. You can pick it up yourself when school is dismissed.

  • 2nd Time: Phone is immediately taken. The Main Office will call your parent or guardian who must come to the school to collect it.

  • 3rd Time: Phone is immediately taken. Your parent or guardian must collect it. You will also be required to check your phone into the Main Office every morning and pick it up only after your last class for a period of time.

Parking Reminders

  • All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.

  • Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=warning, 2nd violation=$5 fine, 3rd violation=$10 fine, 4th violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.

  • No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing
