**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.
Let’s give a massive round of applause to our Physics team, the Hot Mess Express, for their outstanding performance at Friday’s Engineering Machine Design Contest! Competing against some of the best in the region, our students secured a fantastic 6th place finish.
A huge congratulations to Quintin Brockmeyer, Addi Murray, Talon Odden, and Gavin Trask—your hard work, late nights, and creative problem-solving truly paid off, and you represented SF with pride!
The accolades didn't stop there, though. We are also thrilled to announce that Mrs. Price was named the Senior Division Coach of the Year! Thank you for your incredible leadership and dedication to our students. Way to go!
Good luck to our Girls Cougar Track & Field team as they head to Hudson tonight! Please note that all participating athletes should be released from class at 2:35 PM to catch the bus, which will be departing at 2:45 PM. Let’s go, Cougars!
Attention Cougar athletes! If you are planning to participate in Football, Wrestling or Cross Country next year, please attend the upcoming informational meetings in the Gold Gym during Homebase. Football will have their meeting this Thursday. The meeting for Boys and Girls Wrestling will take place on May 4, followed by the meeting for Boys and Girls Cross Country on May 11. Coaches will be discussing essential details regarding summer training and activities, so make sure to be there!
Student Senate and Class Officer applications are available for pick up at the office. Student Senate forms are due to Mrs. Schilling by May 5th, and Class Officer forms are due to her by May 6th.

Grand March line-up is at 6:45
No outside beverages will be allowed at the dance
No re-entry. If you leave the dance you will not be allowed to return.
If attending post-prom, you must be checked in by midnight. If you signed up, but do not arrive, your parents will be called.

All library materials must be returned by May 6th! Get those books turned in to avoid fees. If you have any outstanding library books or unpaid fees, you will not be allowed to walk at graduation!

Summer Driver Education class through Homesafe Driving School is now open for registration. Registration can be found at homesafedrivered.com/classes. Class will run from May 13th through June 27th. The Sumner Family Aquatic Center is officially hiring lifeguards for the 2026 season! You'll find all the job requirements and the application link right there. There are additional employment opportunities for those at least 14 years old as well.
Ten Wasp Brewing is now hiring summer help! To join the team, you must be at least 16 years old to work in the kitchen or 18 years old to serve in the tap room. If you are interested in working in a high-energy environment, be sure to check them out and apply.

📵 Classroom Phone Policy
Phones must be put away in the designated class holder at the beginning of the period and should not be taken out until the class is over.
Phones are not permitted for use during instructional time—period.
What Happens if the Policy is Violated?
1st Time: Phone is immediately taken and held at the Main Office. You can pick it up yourself when school is dismissed.
2nd Time: Phone is immediately taken. The Main Office will call your parent or guardian who must come to the school to collect it.
3rd Time: Phone is immediately taken. Your parent or guardian must collect it. You will also be required to check your phone into the Main Office every morning and pick it up only after your last class for a period of time.
Parking Reminders:
All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.
Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=warning, 2nd violation=$5 fine, 3rd violation=$10 fine, 4th violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.
No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing
