**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • Yearbook sales end on Friday, April 17th. Get your orders in! Don’t count on extras being available!

  • If you plan on participating in cross country or wrestling next year, there will be meetings during homebase in May. 

    • May 4-Boys & Girls Wrestling- Gold Gym

    • May 11-Boys & Girls Cross Country- Gold Gym

  • Student Senate and Class Officer applications are available for pick up at the office. Student Senate forms are due to Mrs. Schilling by May 5th, and Class Officer forms are due to her by May 6th.

  •  Prom/Grand March Info:

    • Ticket Sales: now through next Tuesday, April 21st

      • Before school from 7:35 AM-7:50AM & during homebase

      • $10 Cash only

      • Must purchase in advance

    • If you are planning to bring a date from another school, "Out of Town Guest" forms are available in the office and are due by Thursday.

    • Grand March sign ups are posted at the 4 corners. No more than 3 in a group. Sign up by Friday.

    • Students who are participating in the Grand March need to fill out the questionnaire; you can do this in the link that was sent in your emails or use the QR code posted around the building.  If your dates are from out of town, please make sure they also fill out the form.

    • No outside beverages will be allowed at the dance

    • No re-entry. If you leave the dance you will not be allowed to return.

  • Seniors Announcements:

    • 🎉22 days of school left!🥳

    • Gown fitting during homebase at the wrestling room/entrance to Blue Heaven:

      • Boys-Friday, April 17th

      • Girls-Friday, April 24th, Bring the shoes you plan to wear for graduation

    • All library materials must be returned by May 6th! Get those books turned in to avoid fees. If you have any outstanding library books or unpaid fees, you will not be allowed to walk at graduation!

  • Liz Peters is now offering tanning packages perfect for both Prom and Graduation at 409 Birch Dr. in Fredericksburg.   • Applications for Chickasaw County Fair Queen are available at the office. The deadline for submitting applications is June 1. This is a scholarship opportunity.

  • Applications for Fayette County Fair Queen are now being accepted. You do not need to be a resident of Fayette County to enter. This is a scholarship opportunity.

  • The Sumner Area Swim Team (SAST) is looking for swimmers ages 4-18 of all skill levels to join the Sharks! The season runs from June 1st through July 18th at the Sumner Family Aquatic Center. For just a $50 registration fee, you can improve your technique and build great teamwork skills. Interested? Head to the Sumner Library on May 7th at 6:00 PM for the informational meeting! 📵 Classroom Phone Policy

  • Phones must be put away in the designated class holder at the beginning of the period and should not be taken out until the class is over.

  • Phones are not permitted for use during instructional time—period.

What Happens if the Policy is Violated?

  • 1st Time: Phone is immediately taken and held at the Main Office. You can pick it up yourself when school is dismissed.

  • 2nd Time: Phone is immediately taken. The Main Office will call your parent or guardian who must come to the school to collect it.

  • 3rd Time: Phone is immediately taken. Your parent or guardian must collect it. You will also be required to check your phone into the Main Office every morning and pick it up only after your last class for a period of time.

Parking Reminders:

  • All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.

  • Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=warning, 2nd violation=$5 fine, 3rd violation=$10 fine, 4th violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.

  • No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing
