  • Huge congratulations to our girls' track athletes who put in a strong performance at the Dickinson Relays in the UNI Dome yesterday! Competing against massive fields of athletes from across the state, our runners held their own and posted some impressive times. Sydney Zupke led the charge in the 800 Meters, finishing 16th out of 116 runners with a time of 2:35.20. In the sprints, Braelyn Suckow clocked a 27.87 in the 200 Meters to take 18th place out of 184 competitors, while also finishing the 400 Meters in 1:09.52. Livy Schoonover also had a standout run in the 400 Meters, placing 32nd out of 154 with a time of 1:04.86. Rounding out the distance events, Jaci Snyder battled through the 1500 Meters, finishing with a time of 6:18.51. Great job to all the girls on a hard-fought meet!

  • There is a mandatory meeting for students going to the FCCLA State Leadership conference today during homebase. Make sure to check in with your homebase teachers before going.

  • Are you looking for a fun way to earn Silver Cord hours? Mrs. Bullerman is seeking 6 to 8 student volunteers to help supervise activities and work the concession stand during the upcoming Middle School Fun Night! The event takes place on Friday, April 17th, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. This is a great chance to give back to our younger Cougars and knock out four hours of service in one evening. If you are interested in helping out, please email Mrs. Bullerman as soon as possible at bullermanr@sfcougars.k12.ia.us.

  • FCCLA will be selling boba and lemonade during homebase tomorrow!

  • Jumpstart your college journey by registering for Fall 2026 Hawkeye classes next Thursday, March 19th! The session kicks off at 9:00 AM in the auditorium, so be sure to arrive on time to secure your preferred schedule. This Friday, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, the Friends of Music Carnival is transforming into a radical 1980s wonderland. Between the delicious eats and the high-energy games, you’ll have plenty of chances to score some totally tubular prizes. It’s set to be the most righteous bash of the decade, so make sure you're there to join the fun!
