🚌Activity Shuttle from SFHS to SFMS
2/6 Friday-Shuttle leaves HS @ 6:00
**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.
It was a massive weekend for Cougar Nation! At the State Wrestling tournament, Jamie Jones secured an impressive 7th place finish. On the lanes, the boys bowling team defeated Tripoli to finish their winning season at 7-5; Connor Kramer led the way, throwing a 484 series—the second-highest in school history! They head to State Qualifying next Monday.
In the arts, Large Group Speech dominated at State with "Cell Block Tango" and Choral Reading both earning straight 1s. Finally, the boys wrestling team took 3rd place at the Clear Lake Tournament, led by individual champions Michael Eimers, Zak Willems, Sam Egan, and Jase Jones. Catch the wrestlers back in action this Saturday at Districts in Lake Mills!
It’s a packed schedule for our SF students today with action happening from sunrise to sunset! First off, let’s wish our FCCLA members the best of luck as they compete in their STAR events in Dunkerton today. The excitement continues this afternoon as the Sumner-Fredericksburg Sensations head to MFL MarMac to take the stage for the State Show Choir competition. Show Choir members are dismissed after 7th period to get ready. Finally, make sure to pack the stands tonight as our Cougar basketball teams host the NFV Tigerhawks. The JV boys tip off at 5:00 PM, and we will hold Senior Night Recognition immediately following the girls' varsity game.
Reminder that National Honor Society Applications are due to Ms. Sadler by 3:15 today.
One more day for the FBLA Strawberry fundraiser! Members, finalize & return order forms and payment to Ms. Sadler by the end of the day tomorrow!
Order forms for Senior Class shirts are available at the office. They are due to Mrs. Brinkman by Friday.

The FBLA/FCCLA Sweetheart Dance is coming up on Friday from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Entry is $5 at the door. If you plan to bring a date from another school, you must pick up a guest form in the office and return it by Wednesday. Mark your calendars and we'll see you there! All Hearts are Welcome ♥️
Seniors, if you have silver cord hours to turn in, please get them turned into the office ASAP. Remember, silver cord hours should be turned in by the end of every school year. Please don’t wait until the last minute of your senior year to turn them in.

Sumner-Fredericksburg HS After Prom is hosting our 1st Annual Mattress Fundraiser on Sunday, March 8th, from 10am-5pm. We need your help to find just one person who is already planning on buying a mattress and get them to come to the event. Summer Driver Education class through Homesafe Driving School is now open for registration. Registration can be found at homesafedrivered.com/classes. Class will run from May 13th through June 27th. 📵 Classroom Phone Policy
Phones must be put away in the designated class holder at the beginning of the period and should not be taken out until the class is over.
Phones are not permitted for use during instructional time—period.
What Happens if the Policy is Violated?
1st Time: Phone is immediately taken and held at the Main Office. You can pick it up yourself when school is dismissed.
2nd Time: Phone is immediately taken. The Main Office will call your parent or guardian who must come to the school to collect it.
3rd Time: Phone is immediately taken. Your parent or guardian must collect it. You will also be required to check your phone into the Main Office every morning and pick it up only after your last class for a period of time.
Parking Reminders:
🚫Attention students: Parking enforcement is now in effect. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, and fines will be added to your school fees. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of the school year to participate in graduation. Four or more parking violations will result in the loss of on-campus parking privileges.
All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.
Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=warning, 2nd violation=$5 fine, 3rd violation=$10 fine, 4th violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.
No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing
