Let’s hear a massive round of applause for our Girls Wrestling team, who had a phenomenal showing at the NICL Conference meet last night! Despite entering only eight varsity wrestlers, the girls secured an incredible 2nd place finish overall, holding their own against a fully loaded BCLUW/South Hardin squad. It was a golden night for our program with four individual Conference Champions: Maleena Sander, Braelyn Suckow, Ella Schares, and Jamie Jones. We also had strong podium finishes from Kaydi Cowell and Millie Van Sickle, who both took 2nd, and Emerie Parkes, who finished 3rd. Congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding performance—way to represent!
The Cougar athletes are busy again tonight, so clear your schedules! They kick things off at 4:00 PM as our bowling teams take on the Forest City Indians in a make-up match at Thunder Lanes; make sure to stick around as we honor our Senior bowlers for their dedication to the lanes. Back on campus, the basketball teams host the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines with tip-off at 4:30 PM. Finally, our boys wrestling team hits the road to Union for a triangular against the Knights and the Wolverines starting at 6:15 PM. Whether you’re staying home or traveling to Union, let’s show up loud and proud. Good luck, Cougars!
There will be a Student Senate meeting in Mrs. Schilling’s room during homebase today.
Reminder: We WILL have school on Monday, February 16th. This is a make up day from the snow day on Friday, 1/23.
