On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • Due to our late start today, our testing schedule has been adjusted. Please note that 4th period and lunch will be combined. If your 4th-period teacher is Claytor, Bolte, Quigley, either Sadler, Leete, Schilling, Harrenstein, or Burns, you will head directly to lunch immediately following this class. All other students should report to their 4th-period classroom first and will eat lunch afterward. Following the lunch block, we will move to 6th period and then 8th period. Please be aware that there is no Homebase today. PM release students are permitted to depart at 2:02 PM. The absolute final deadline for any 2nd semester schedule changes is Tuesday, January 20. Good luck to everyone on your final exams today!

  • Congratulations to our Cougar wrestlers on a strong showing last night! Both the boys' and girls' teams secured hard-fought victories over Columbus Catholic, though both fell short against Aplington-Parkersburg/Grundy Center. A special shout-out goes to our athletes who went undefeated on the night: Braelyn S, Kaydi C, Jamie J, Cate S, Sam E, Jase J, Zak W, and Linkan S. Great job, Cougars!

  • It’s an exciting couple of days for Cougar athletics! Tonight, head over to Thunder Lanes at 4:00 PM to cheer on our bowling teams as they take on the Forest City Indians. We’ll also be hosting a special celebration for our Senior team members, so come show your appreciation for their hard work! Across the way, our basketball teams are traveling to Jesup to battle the J-Hawks, with games starting at 4:00 PM. Important Reminder: JV Boys and all Girls basketball players are dismissed at 2:30 PM today to catch the 2:40 PM bus. Finally, let's send some positive energy to our girls wrestling team as they head to Oelwein tomorrow for their tournament. Let’s go, Cougars!

  • Attention JV Boys & all Girls Basketball athletes, please check in with your 8th period teacher early on and check your email for any possible instructions for finals.

  • Seniors, if you have silver cord hours to turn in, please work on finishing those up.

  • Due to no homebase today, FBLA members should stop by Ms. Sadler's room for their Strawberry Fundraiser forms. The meeting will be rescheduled to next week.

  • If you missed the meeting for Foundations of Education/Field Experience on Monday but would like to take the class, email Mr. Cunningham at cunninghamr@sfcougars.k12.ia.us
