What a great night to be a Cougar! Our wrestling teams dominated the mat last night, starting with a massive 44-12 victory for the girls over Waterloo Columbus and followed by a decisive 64–12 win for the boys against BCLUW/South Hardin. The energy stayed high as we celebrated Senior Night and cheered on Jim Bob for securing the title belt over the Grinch! A huge congratulations and thank you to our seniors—Addi M, Sam E, Ryder L, Keeley M, Emerie P, Maleena S, Ella S, Jamie J, and Kaydi C—for four incredible years on the mat. Let’s keep this momentum going and finish the season strong. Go Cougars!
It’s a busy couple days for Cougar Athletics! Tonight, our Bowling teams take on the North Fayette Valley TigerHawks at 4:00 PM at Lilac Lanes (dismissal at 2:35 PM), while Girls Wrestling travels to Central Elkader for a 4:00 PM start (dismissal at 1:05 PM). Back at home, our Basketball teams face off against the East Marshall Mustangs starting at 4:30 PM. The fun continues into the weekend as Boys Wrestling heads to Tripoli tomorrow for tournament action. Good luck to all our athletes!
