  • It was an incredible night of wrestling as a packed house and electric energy set the stage for a dominant performance by our teams. Both the girls and boys programs brought high intensity to the mat, starting with the girls team's impressive 45-12 victory over our conference rivals, the Oelwein Huskies. The momentum continued with the boys team, who secured two powerhouse wins against East Marshall and Oelwein, finishing with identical scores of 72-12 in both duals.

In addition to the action on the mat, the evening was a special celebration of our wrestling community during the Mat Pack and Junior High recognition night. To top off the event, the "Most Valuable Wrestler" of the meet, Jim Bob, earned the title with an absolutely epic performance. Congratulations to all our athletes on a fantastic night!

  • Get ready for a busy winter break, Cougar fans! The action kicks off tonight as our Bowling team takes on the Oelwein Huskies at Thunder Lanes starting at 4:00 PM, while our basketball teams travel to Oelwein for a 4:00 PM tip-off. The momentum continues tomorrow at 10:00 AM as Girls Wrestling heads to Prairie and Boys Wrestling travels to West Hancock. Basketball is back at it tomorrow as well, taking on the New Hampton Chickasaws starting at 11:00 AM in New Hampton. Free admission with a donation of a canned food, personal care, or pantry item for their local food pantry.  Be sure to check the full school schedule for more basketball games happening throughout the break—let’s go Cougars!
