**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day and the schedule changes every week. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • Get ready for some sports action tonight! Cougar Basketball is hosting Jesup here at home, with the JV Girls tipping off first at 4:00 PM. Come out and cheer on our teams! Additionally, the Girls Wrestling team heads to Central Elkader today. Wrestlers should be dismissed from class at 1:50 PM. Their action begins on the mat at 5:00 PM. Good luck to all our athletes!

  • ☕The Student Senate is spreading some cheer and serving up  hot cocoa today during homebase at the Four Corners! Keep those ears open, because each class will be called down separately when it's their turn to grab a cup. Listen closely to the announcements so you don't miss out on this cozy treat!

  • Mr. Koch's Homebase should report to Mrs. Price's room today. Additionally, students in Mr. Koch's 6th, 7th, and 8th period classes should report to the library.

  • 🍪 FBLA Christmas Cookie Exchange TONIGHT! 🎄 Don't miss the annual FBLA Christmas Cookie Exchange this evening at 5:00 PM in Ms. Sadler's room. Bring a friend and come ready to exchange cookies, sip on some hot chocolate, and enjoy a festive time! Please remember to bring 30 cookies to participate in the exchange. Afterward, the group will head to the basketball game together. See you there!

  • Don't forget to submit your artwork for Mr. Wall's Winter Wonderland coloring contest! The deadline to turn in your colorful masterpieces is this Wednesday, at the end of the school day, in the main office. Both students and staff can participate for a chance to win a prize!

  • 🎁Sweater Weather Wednesday: Wear your best ugly Christmas sweater tomorrow!

  • Check your email for an interest survey from Mr. Cunningham regarding the Mock Trial Club and the Educational/Field Experience course. This is not a commitment, but you must complete the survey by this Wednesday, December 17th.

  • 📸Senior Pictures are due to Mrs. Robertson by this Friday, December 19th! Make sure you get those in if you want your picture in the yearbook!

  • The lost & found is on a table outside the office until winter break. If you are missing anything, now is the time to check! Remember, any items left after winter break will be donated.

  • Quote of the day:  “Christmas: the only time of the year you can sit in front of a dead tree eating candy out of socks.”

  • Energy Drinks: A reminder that our school's health and wellness policy limits caffeine in beverages to 100mg. Please avoid bringing drinks exceeding this limit to school. These drinks include 12oz. Alani Energy (200mg), 16oz. Monster Energy(160mg), 12oz. Celsius(200+mg), and similar products. READ THE LABELS!

📵 Classroom Phone Policy

  • Phones must be put away in the designated class holder at the beginning of the period and should not be taken out until the class is over.

  • Phones are not permitted for use during instructional time—period.

What Happens if the Policy is Violated?

  • 1st Time: Phone is immediately taken and held at the Main Office. You can pick it up yourself when school is dismissed.

  • 2nd Time: Phone is immediately taken. The Main Office will call your parent or guardian who must come to the school to collect it.

  • 3rd Time: Phone is immediately taken. Your parent or guardian must collect it. You will also be required to check your phone into the Main Office every morning and pick it up only after your last class for a period of time.

Parking Reminders:

🚫Attention students: Parking enforcement is now in effect. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, and fines will be added to your school fees. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of the school year to participate in graduation. Four or more parking violations will result in the loss of on-campus parking privileges.

  • All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.

  • Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=$5, 2nd violation=$10, 3rd violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.

  • No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing

  • 🅿️Designated Student Parking:

    • Seniors: East side of the main lot (between the median & Meadowbrook) & across the street

    • Juniors: Gravel lot across the street

    • Sophomores: behind the west side of the building & the gravel lot across the street

    • Freshmen: behind the west side of the building

    • NOTE: DO NOT PARK ON THE STAFF SIDE OF THE MAIN LOT, THIS INCLUDES EVERYTHING WEST OF THE MEDIAN
