  • The Cougar boys wrestling team battled hard at the Hudson Quad last night, achieving a thrilling 43-42 victory over Hudson in a meet decided by criteria! Though they fell in close matches to North Butler/Clarksville (40-38) and 14th-ranked Denver (48-29), the team showed incredible fight. Zak W, Sam E, Ryder L, and Jase J all dominated the night, each going a perfect 3-0! A huge congratulations to senior Sam E who recently recorded his incredible 100th career win! Come support the Cougars this Saturday at the Nashua Plainfield Tournament. JV starts at 9:00 AM and Varsity begins at 10:30 AM.

  • Tonight is a great evening to cheer on your Cougars across multiple events! The action starts at 4:00 PM on two fronts: the bowling teams will be competing against the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks at Thunder Lanes, and right here at home, the basketball teams will be hosting the Union Knights, with the JV games tentatively scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM. Additionally, the girls wrestling team is hitting the road to compete in a tournament at Luther College in Decorah. Teachers and students are asked to note that the wrestlers and managers participating in the Decorah tournament will be dismissed early at 1:20 PM to catch their bus promptly at 1:30 PM. We wish the best of luck to all our hardworking athletes!
