Get ready for an action-packed night of Cougar athletics! First, pack the stands here at home as our basketball teams defend our court against the Union Knights; the excitement begins with the JV girls tipping off at 4:00 PM. Meanwhile, our Varsity boys wrestling team is hitting the road to Hudson for heavy-hitting double dual action. They’ll be battling the Pirates, the Denver Cyclones, and the North Butler/Clarksville Bearcats, with matches starting at 6:00 PM. Good luck to all our athletes—let's go Cougars!
Attention students: Please report directly to your Homebase to have your attendance taken. Immediately following check-in, proceed to the auditorium for a special presentation. Mr. Cunningham will be sharing important details regarding new course offerings for next semester, so be sure to tune in to see what exciting options are available for your future schedule!
This Friday, Mr. Sadler will host a representative from the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) during periods 2, 3, and 4. The speaker will discuss the importance of skilled trades, the value of trade schools, and the diverse opportunities available through UTI's nationwide programs. If you are interested in attending to learn more about a potential career in the trades, please check the email Mr. Sadler sent out and reply by the end of the day on Wednesday to sign up for a period that fits your schedule!

🎄Next week, let's dive into the holiday spirit with five days of festive fun! Kick off the week on Monday with Snooze & Slippers—wear your Christmas jammies or any regular PJs for a cozy start. Tuesday is North Pole Roll Call, where you can transform into your favorite character from a Christmas movie. On Wednesday, grab your sparkliest or tackiest gear for Sweater Weather Wednesday and wear your best ugly Christmas sweater! Things get creative on Thursday with Merry Sipmas: Anything But a Cup! Bring your drink in a fun, non-traditional container, but remember to keep your beverage volume under a half gallon. Finally, wrap up the week on Friday with Festive Friday—show off your favorite Christmas gear, including shirts, pants, socks, sweaters, and hats! Please ensure all clothing and props remain school appropriate.🧑🎄
Reminder: Students are strictly prohibited from parking in the staff lot during the school day or when arriving for early morning activities (e.g., weights, band). Please use only designated student parking areas.
⚽ Girls Interested in Soccer with Waverly-Shell Rock: If you are a high school girl interested in playing soccer with Waverly-Shell Rock, please check your email for a message from Mr. Quigley. That email contains a Google Form you must complete to be invited to their off-season meeting on December 14th. Attending this meeting is crucial as they will outline all expectations to ensure the sharing agreement is a good fit for you and your family.
The lost & found can be found in the library. If you are missing anything, now is the time to check! Remember, any items left after winter break will be donated.
