**🚌Please note that the activity shuttle providing transportation from the high school back to the middle school does not run every day. If you require a ride back to Fredericksburg after practices, be sure to check the weekly schedule. On the days the shuttle operates, it typically departs the high school at 5:30 PM. On all other days, students are responsible for securing their own transportation home.

  • Get ready to show your Cougar pride! Our incredible Girls Wrestling Team is heading out of town today and tomorrow to compete at a tournament in Independence. Let's send them off with our best wishes! Please note that the wrestlers will be released from class at 12:20 p.m. today for their departure at 12:30. We wish our dedicated athletes the very best of luck as they battle it out on the mat. Go Cougars!

  • The Bowling Webstore has been extended until Monday, November 24th! Get your orders in! 

  • The Turkey Valley/Sumner-Fredericksburg Trap Shooting Team is holding registration meetings at 7 PM on Sunday, November 30th at Sumner-Fredericksburg High School and Sunday, December 7th at Turkey Valley Schools. All first-time participants must bring their Hunter Education Certification to one of the meetings. Email tvtrapteam@gmail.com with any questions. 

  • The lost & found is located in the library. See Deb if you are missing anything. Any items left after winter break will be donated.

  • SENIORS: Quotes for the yearbook are due TODAY! Senior Pictures are due December 19th!

  • Are you interested in playing soccer this spring? Check your emails for a survey from Mr. Quigley. There was a new form sent out yesterday. Please fill out the NEW FORM, even if you completed the first one. Thank you!

  • 📝 Important Hall Pass Reminders: When filling out a hall pass form, if you select the "other" option for your destination, you must say where you are going to and why. When you return to class, remember to immediately fill out the corresponding check-in form. 

  • Don't forget that peer tutors are available to help you during Homebase! You can find them in Mrs. Brinkman's room Tuesdays through Fridays. Remember to always check in with your Homebase teacher before heading over.

  • Homebase Reminder: Check in with your homebase teacher before going to Cougar Time or any other homebase activities. Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence.

  • 💻Please be sure you are checking your emails daily. You may be missing important information from your teachers and school administration.

  • Energy Drinks: A reminder that our school's health and wellness policy limits caffeine in beverages to 100mg. Please avoid bringing drinks exceeding this limit to school. These drinks include 12oz. Alani Energy (200mg), 16oz. Monster Energy(160mg), 12oz. Celsius(200+mg), and similar products. READ THE LABELS!

📵 Classroom Phone Policy

  • Phones must be put away in the designated class holder at the beginning of the period and should not be taken out until the class is over.

  • Phones are not permitted for use during instructional time—period.

What Happens if the Policy is Violated?

  • 1st Time: Phone is immediately taken and held at the Main Office. You can pick it up yourself when school is dismissed.

  • 2nd Time: Phone is immediately taken. The Main Office will call your parent or guardian who must come to the school to collect it.

  • 3rd Time: Phone is immediately taken. Your parent or guardian must collect it. You will also be required to check your phone into the Main Office every morning and pick it up only after your last class for a period of time.

Parking Reminders:

🚫Attention students: Parking enforcement is now in effect. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, and fines will be added to your school fees. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of the school year to participate in graduation. Four or more parking violations will result in the loss of on-campus parking privileges.

  • All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.

  • Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=$5, 2nd violation=$10, 3rd violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.

  • No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing

  • 🅿️Designated Student Parking:

    • Seniors: East side of the main lot (between the median & Meadowbrook) & across the street

    • Juniors: Gravel lot across the street

    • Sophomores: behind the west side of the building & the gravel lot across the street

    • Freshmen: behind the west side of the building

    • NOTE: DO NOT PARK ON THE STAFF SIDE OF THE MAIN LOT, THIS INCLUDES EVERYTHING WEST OF THE MEDIAN
