🤼♀️ The JV Girls Wrestling team had a strong first tournament last night in Independence! Congratulations to Millie V for winning her 8 girl bracket! Bella P and Cate S placed 3rd, and Alivia W placed 4th. Good luck to Varsity as they wrestle this Friday and Saturday, also in Independence!
🏀Tonight the girls’ basketball team hosts the Waukon Indians for the Achieve scrimmage and food drive beginning at 5:30 p.m. Admission is a nonperishable food item or a free-will donation, with all proceeds supporting our local food bank. Come out, cheer on our team, and help support a great cause!🥫
If you've got a PM Release, your official escape time is 2:30 PM! You need to sign out at the office and leave right away. If you're hanging out for a club, tutoring, or just chilling while you wait for a ride or practice, you absolutely HAVE to be with a teacher who knows you're there and the office needs to know too! Also, if you are leaving but coming back later for a sports practice or other activity, please wait until at least 3:00 PM to re-enter the building. This isn't just a rule; it's about keeping everyone safe, so don't try to sneak around! Thanks for helping us keep things secure!
Lost & Found: Missing a Coat or Hoodie? Our Lost & Found is currently overflowing with items, especially jackets, located in the Library. Please stop by the library and see Deb to claim your items. Reminder: All remaining items will be donated after Winter Break!
🎳Attention student bowlers: Girls' practice is today from 3:30 to 4:15 PM, followed by the boys' practice starting at 4:15 PM. Also, please be aware that the bowling meet versus Tripoli scheduled for today has been postponed due to the Honor Band event. Stay tuned for the new date!
U.S. Army Representatives will be in the Student Center during lunch today. Stop by their table to learn about career paths, educational benefits, and opportunities in the Army and get your questions answered!
SENIORS: Quotes for the yearbook are due FRIDAY! Senior Pictures are due December 19th!
Are you interested in playing soccer this spring? Check your emails for a survey from Mr. Quigley.
📝 Important Hall Pass Reminders: When filling out a hall pass form, please remember two things. First, if you select the "other" option for your destination, you must say where you are going to and why, not just the activity you will be doing. For example, write “Brinkmans/test" instead of "test." Second, when you return to class, remember to immediately fill out the corresponding check-in form. Following these steps helps us maintain an accurate record of your whereabouts.
Don't forget that peer tutors are available to help you during Homebase! You can find them in Mrs. Brinkman's room Tuesdays through Fridays. Remember to always check in with your Homebase teacher before heading over.
