Due to our scheduled early-out today, we'll be operating on an altered schedule. Please note the special order for your classes: the day will proceed through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th periods, followed by 6th period, then 5th period/lunch, and finally 7th and 8th periods. Make sure to check the exact bell times posted at the office and linked in the announcement email so you're not late to class! We encourage both you and your parents to attend conferences tonight, 3:30–7:30.
Hey Cougars! Get ready to cheer because your Varsity Volleyball team is advancing! They crushed the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies last night in three sets to move on to Round 3 of Regional play. A huge shout-out to the student section—you were loud and amazing! Let's bring that energy and more on Monday as the Cougars take on South Winn right here at home at 7:00 PM. Fill the stands and make some noise! Go Cougars!
Hear that Cougar roar? Our Cross Country team is heading to Starmont today for their chance to qualify for State! Come out and cheer on our runners as they compete for their spot at the ultimate meet. The girls' race kicks off the action at 4:00 PM, immediately followed by the boys' race. Admission is $5 per car, so pack your ride with fans and don't forget it's cash only at the gate. Let's send them off with some serious Cougar spirit!
Registration for Spring 2026 Hawkeye classes is today at 9AM in the auditorium. If you have never taken a Hawkeye class before you NEED your social security number to create an account. You will also need your chromebooks. Please see the email from Mrs. Herold for more information.
This week is your last chance to reclaim any missing items from the Lost & Found! We've moved them to the table outside the main office this week, so please stop by and take a look. Remember that normally the Lost & Found is located in the library. Anything left on the table after conferences this Thursday will be gathered up and donated to Goodwill. Check it out before it's too late!
A representative from Upper Iowa University will be here next Tuesday, October 28, from 12-1 in the library. Please let your teachers know if you would like to go.
Don't forget that peer tutors are available to help you during Homebase! You can find them in Mrs. Brinkman's room Tuesdays through Fridays. Remember to always check in with your Homebase teacher before heading over.
The Tri-County Sportsplex is looking for volunteers Saturday, October 25th, to help with their fundraising dinner following the Family UTV Ride. Lend a hand at The Legion Hall anytime between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM to help serve the meal and clean up afterward. No need to sign up—just show up at The Legion when you can. Any time you're able to help out, whether it's 30 minutes or the whole evening, makes a difference! Come support the Sportsplex! This is an opportunity to earn silver cord hours!
