Attention Cougar Nation! Tonight is the night! Come out and cheer on your Cougar Volleyball team as they continue their Road to State! They'll be taking on the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies right here at home. The action starts at 7:00 PM, so get here early and be loud! And don't forget to show your Cougar spirit—the fan theme tonight is a BLACK OUT! Just a reminder that this is a 2A Regional match, which means passes will not be honored. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online through Bound or with a card at the door. Let's pack the gym and help power our Cougars to victory!
A representative from UNI will be here today from 12-1 in the library. Make sure to check in with your teachers before going.
Mr. Koch’s homebase needs to go to Mrs. Price’s room today. His 6th-8th period classes need to report to the library.
FCCLA members: Butterbraids will be delivered today at the end of the school day. You MUST be here to pick these up. If you cannot pick them up yourself, you need to find someone to get them for you.
Remember that we have a 2 hour early-out tomorrow and no school on Friday. Students with AM release will need to be here by 8:33. Please encourage your parents to attend parent-teacher conferences from 3:30 to 7:30 tomorrow.
Registration for Spring 2026 Hawkeye classes will be tomorrow at 9AM in the auditorium. If you have never taken a Hawkeye class before you NEED your social security number to create an account. You will also need your chromebooks. Please see the email from Mrs. Herold for more information.
Mr. McManus from Herff-Jones will be back today during lunch. Seniors, even if you don’t order, please still fill out your name on the order sheet & write your height & weight on the back for graduation gown size and turn in today
This week is your last chance to reclaim any missing items from the Lost & Found! We've moved them to the table outside the main office this week, so please stop by and take a look. Remember that normally the Lost & Found is located in the library. Anything left on the table after conferences this Thursday will be gathered up and donated to Goodwill. Check it out before it's too late!
A representative from Upper Iowa University will be here next Tuesday, October 28, from 12-1 in the library. Please let your teachers know if you would like to go.
Don't forget that peer tutors are available to help you during Homebase! You can find them in Mrs. Brinkman's room Tuesdays through Fridays. Remember to always check in with your Homebase teacher before heading over.
The Tri-County Sportsplex is looking for volunteers Saturday, October 25th, to help with their fundraising dinner following the Family UTV Ride. Lend a hand at The Legion Hall anytime between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM to help serve the meal and clean up afterward. No need to sign up—just show up at The Legion when you can. Any time you're able to help out, whether it's 30 minutes or the whole evening, makes a difference! Come support the Sportsplex! This is an opportunity to earn silver cord hours!

Parking Reminders:
🚫Attention students: Parking enforcement is now in effect. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, and fines will be added to your school fees. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of the school year to participate in graduation. Four or more parking violations will result in the loss of on-campus parking privileges.
All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.
Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=$5, 2nd violation=$10, 3rd violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.
No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing

Juniors: Gravel lot across the street
Sophomores: behind the west side of the building & the gravel lot across the street
