It was a truly phenomenal night for Cougar Cross Country! The Girls' team brought home first place at the New Hampton meet, led by five medalists: Sydney Z, Jaci S, Rain R, Brooklyn F, and Braelyn S. The Boys' team finished a strong 3rd, with medalists Zeek B and Grayden M. A huge number of runners recorded new Personal Records (PRs) last night, including Zeek B, Grayden M, Michael E, Titus P, Greg B, Chase P, Greyson P, Oakley F, Brennan P, Jaci S, Rain R, Brooklyn F, Braelyn S, Livy S, Natalie P, and Angelina B. Additionally, Jocelyn Harrison recorded a season's best time! Congratulations to all the runners on their outstanding performance! Come out to Oelwein next Thursday to cheer them on at the NICL Conference meet!
The Cougar Varsity Volleyball team had a wonderful showing on the second night of NICL Tournament play at Jesup! They started the evening strong by beating the East Marshall Mustangs 2-0, and then clinched a tough battle against the hosting Jesup J-Hawks, defeating them in a close match, 2-1. Congratulations to the team on their outstanding performance and two great wins! The girls take to the court again Tuesday at home against the Denver Cyclones. Come out & show them your support!
Get ready for some Friday night lights! Cougar Varsity Football team takes on the Jesup J-Hawks at home TONIGHT, with kick-off at 7:00 PM. Join us as we celebrate our incredible seniors from Football, Cheerleading, Band, and Cross Country! The fan dress-up theme is "Senior Citizen," so break out your cardigans and glasses! Don't miss the delicious hamburger meal being served by the Cougar Betterment Foundation for just $8! Then, be sure to wish the Pride of Sumner-Fredericksburg Marching Band good luck as they travel to Dubuque tomorrow to compete! Come out and support your Cougars!

Wrestling Cheer Tryouts: The official tryouts will be held on October 21st, starting at 4:30 PM. Prior to that, it is highly recommended that you attend the mandatory pre-tryout practice and informational meeting on October 14th from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, where you'll learn the routines and get all the details you need to prepare. Please mark both dates on your calendar, and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the coach directly at dlayneeritter03@gmail.com.
The TV-SF Trap Team will be holding a ButterBraid fundraiser for anyone in 7th - 12th grade that plans to join the team for the Spring 2026 season. Packets will be available at both the High School and Middle School offices on Monday October 13 and need to be returned to the school offices on Wednesday October 29th.
Winter Sports Sign UP! Sign up for basketball, wrestling, bowling or cheer using the google form emailed to you or using the link in the announcement email. You must use your school email to fill out the form.
FBLA Chapter dues need to be paid to Ms. Sadler by October 17th.
Don't forget that peer tutors are available to help you during Homebase! You can find them in Mrs. Brinkman's room Tuesdays through Fridays. Remember to always check in with your Homebase teacher before heading over.

Parking Reminders:
🚫Attention students: Parking enforcement is now in effect. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, and fines will be added to your school fees. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of the school year to participate in graduation. Four or more parking violations will result in the loss of on-campus parking privileges.
All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.
Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=$5, 2nd violation=$10, 3rd violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.
No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing
