This past weekend was a huge success for Cougar Volleyball! The JJV girls dominated at our home tournament, taking 1st place overall. Meanwhile, the varsity girls traveled to Columbus for their tournament and had a fantastic showing, finishing with a strong 3-1 record. Great job to all the athletes!
It's a busy evening for Cougar Sports! Tonight, the Cross Country team travels to Dike for their meet; the JV races will kick off at 4:45 PM. Meanwhile, the Varsity Volleyball team is heading to Gladbrook-Reinbeck to face off against the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons. The volleyball match begins at 6:00 PM. Be sure to wish all our teams good luck as they compete!
Don’t forget to sign up for your winter sports! Sign up for basketball, wrestling, bowling or cheer using the google form emailed to you or using the link in the announcement email. You must use your school email to fill out the form.
La’James Beauty School will be in the library from 12-1 on Thursday if you are interested in learning more about what they have to offer. Make sure you let your teachers know where you are.

Do you still owe FBLA chapter dues? You can give your $20 to Ms. Sadler until October 17th.
Struggling with a class or an assignment? Don't forget about our NHS peer tutoring program! Peer tutors are available to help you during home base every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in Mrs. Brinkman's room. Always check in with your homebase teacher before going.
Looking for volunteer hours? Women of Fredericksburg is looking for helpers for PumpkinFest from 2-4:30 on Oct. 19 at the Cottage in Fredericksburg. Please email janiecekramer@gmail.com to help out.

Energy Drinks: A reminder that our school's health and wellness policy limits caffeine in beverages to 100mg. Please avoid bringing drinks exceeding this limit to school. These drinks include 12oz. Alani Energy (200mg), 16oz. Monster Energy(160mg), 12oz. Celsius(200+mg), and similar products. READ THE LABELS!

Parking Reminders:
🚫Attention students: Parking enforcement is now in effect. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed, and fines will be added to your school fees. All outstanding fees must be paid by the end of the school year to participate in graduation. Four or more parking violations will result in the loss of on-campus parking privileges.
All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permits are available at the high school office after filling out the google form for vehicle registration.
Students caught parking in the staff parking or in a no-parking zone will be fined; 1st violation=$5, 2nd violation=$10, 3rd violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.
No parking at Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club. Violators are subject to ticketing/towing

Seniors: East side of the main lot (between the median & Meadowbrook) & across the street
Juniors: Gravel lot across the street
Sophomores: behind the west side of the building & the gravel lot across the street
Freshmen: behind the west side of the building
