Huge congratulations to the Sensations! They delivered an electrifying performance at the Emmetsburg Extravaganza this past Saturday, competing against schools of all sizes. The Sensations captured 1st place in the 1A/2A division, won the People's Choice Award, and placed 5th runner-up overall! Way to go!
Congratulations to the following FFA members for their achievements at the 2025 Northeast Iowa District FFA Convention: Sydney Z, who delivered an outstanding FFA Creed and will advance to the state competition! Boden T, recognized for earning a silver rating on his treasurer's book and the State Academic Achievement Award! And to Carter W, who participated in the Greenhand quiz and served as a voting delegate alongside Andy B.

Fall 2025 HCC Registration Session: Fall 2025 registration for Hawkeye classes will be Monday, March 17th @ 9:00am in the auditorium. **If you have never taken a Hawkeye class before, you NEED to bring your Social Security number to be able to create an account to register.**

Freshmen/Class Rings: The Herff-Jones rep will be here during homebase on March 12th to collect orders. If you did not receive an order packet, they are available in the office.
No Parking Zones:Do not park in the “no parking zones” indicated by yellow paint. You will be asked to move your vehicle and could be fined.
Homebase Reminder: Check in with your homebase teacher before going to Cougar Time or any other homebase activities. Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence.
Please be sure you are checking your emails daily. You may be missing important information from your teachers and school administration.
Energy Drinks: A reminder that our school's health and wellness policy limits caffeine in beverages to 100mg. Please avoid bringing drinks exceeding this limit to school. These drinks include 12oz. Alani Energy (200mg), 16oz. Monster Energy(160mg), 12oz. Celsius(200+mg), and similar products.
AM/PM Release Students: You must sign in and out at the office every day when you arrive and when you leave. This is crucial for attendance records and student safety. Please make sure to follow this procedure without exception.

All students who drive to school must have a visible parking permit in any vehicle they might drive to school. Parking permit applications are available in the office. If you get a different vehicle, you need to update your parking permit.

Students caught parking in the staff parking will be fined; 1st violation=$5, 2nd violation=$10, 3rd violation=On-school grounds parking privileges revoked.
