No Day- No Specials!

*IMPORTANT HOMECOMING INFORMATION

To ensure a smooth transportation process, we kindly request your cooperation in the following:

• Notify Your School: If your child has any changes to their usual afternoon routine on Friday, please inform their school office before 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 17th. This includes changes like walking home with a friend or being picked up by someone.

• Expect Schedule Changes: Due to the timing of the pep rally and parade, there will be slight adjustments to the time students from Fredericksburg and rural bus routes arrive home. Fredericksburg students may arrive up to 20-30 minutes earlier than usual, while Sumner students may arrive up to 45 minutes earlier. Please plan your schedules accordingly.

Please note that Durant and Fredericksburg Elementary car riders and walkers will be dismissed at their regular times.

Parents, 

Please help us keep our car line moving smoothly and efficiently by displaying your car rider sign in your window as you pull up for pick up.  At times, we have different staff who will be watching for the signs so we may not know all of you by your car.  We appreciate your help!   If you need another sign please email Mrs. Larson in the office larsonj@sfcougars.k12.ia.us

Morning Drop Off/Afternoon Pick Up at Durant - Thank you for following our procedures to help us get all cars loaded and on their way today in 8 minutes!  Just a few reminders:

• Please remember that the north side of 5th street is a no parking area.  We don't want parents and students to walk between the line of cars that are unloading on the south side of the street.

• Please plan to have your child(ren) exit and enter your car from the passenger side so we don't have students walking between cars.   

• If you need additional car signs for other people who may pick up your child(ren), email Mrs. Larson at larsonj@sfcougars.k12.ia.us.
