Sumner-Fredericksburg Schools (SUMMER 2024) May 14th- June 22nd
A five-week session will be provided during the 2024 summer.
There will be two in-class sessions at Sumner-Fredericksburg High School May 14th (6:00- 7:00 PM) and May 28th (8:00-10:00 AM).
The remainder of the classroom instruction will be completed online. Registration for the online course will be given during the first in-person meeting on May 14th. Students will be able to log-in and out anytime and will be allowed to complete 3 hours per day on the course.
Students must successfully complete online coursework (30 hours) and driving (6 hours) sections of driver education concurrently. Students will be given 40 days to complete the online course and the online course work must be completed by June 22. If a student does not complete the course by the deadline, a $50 fee will be charged for a 10-day extension.
Driving will be arranged with the driving instructors on the first-class date May 14th.
Driving will be arranged before or after school and weekends while school is still in session. When school is out of session, driving will be arranged throughout the day and weekends.
The cost of the course is $420.00. A 3% processing fee will be charged for any payments by credit card.
All refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee. A full refund minus the $50 administrative fee is available up to 10 days prior to a course beginning. A 50% refund is available within 10 days up until the first day of a course. No refunds will be given after the first day of class. Please make checks payable to HOMESAFE Driving School L.L.C. Certificates of completion will not be issued until all financial obligations have been fulfilled. Students failing to show up for scheduled behind-the-wheel instruction, without prior notification, will be subject to a $50.00 non-refundable fee.
