I am a proud graduate of Sumner High School and the University of Northern Iowa. I moved to Richmond, Texas to begin my full-time teaching career. I was a teacher in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades as well as a Reading Facilitator during my twelve years in the classroom.

Later I served as the Assistant Principal of Huggin Elementary in Fulshear, Texas for thirteen years until I came home to the area. I am in my third year as the Principal of Durant Elementary and Fredericksburg Elementary.
